Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Daftar Books collects when you use Daftar Books, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash) and, if you enable it, your two-factor login settings.
• Business data you enter: company details, customers, vendors, employees, invoices, bills, payments, bank statements, attachments and other accounting records. You control this data; we process it on your behalf.
• Payment details for your subscription: the transaction reference, amount, date and any receipt you upload when paying us. We never receive your card or online-banking credentials.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and the times of sign-ins and changes, recorded in your company’s audit trail and our server logs for security.

How we use it

• To provide, secure and support the service, and to verify and record your subscription payments.
• To contact you about your account, billing and important changes.
• To meet legal obligations, such as keeping payment records.

We do not sell your data, use your accounting records for advertising, or share them with anyone except as described here.

Who we share it with

• Our hosting provider, which stores the encrypted-in-transit data on our servers. Servers may be located outside your country.
• A payment provider, if you choose to pay through one, only for the payment itself.
• Our email delivery provider, only to send you account emails such as invitations, password links and payment confirmations.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.
• People you choose: users you invite, and customers you send a portal link to (they see only their own documents).

Security

Connections use HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, access is limited by roles, every change is logged, and you can turn on two-factor login. We take daily backups. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will tell you without undue delay.

How long we keep data

We keep your data while your account is active. After an account is closed we keep it for 90 days so it can be restored, then delete it, except records we must keep by law (such as payment records).

Your rights

You can view and correct your information in the app, export reports, and ask us for a copy of your data or for its deletion by writing to support@daftarbooks.com. We reply within 30 days.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser’s storage for preferences such as dark mode. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and notify account owners of significant changes.
